That's intended.  It's how a standard calculator should work.  When you press equals, the calculator remembers your last operation and the number you used, so pressing equals again applies that same step to the result.  It lets you multiply, add, or divide by the same value repeatedly without re-entering it  —  See How Equals Key Works

Yes.  You can type digits and operators directly, with Enter doing the same job as the = button.  Escape clears everything like the AC button, and each keypress highlights its button so you can see what you entered  —  View Keyboard Shortcuts

Open the History panel and click any calculation and that result returns to the display and whatever you type next continues from it.  A quick shortcut:click the expression area above the result and you jump straight to your history  —  More About Calculation History

Yes.  The calculator works on phones and tablets as well as desktops and laptops.  Tap the buttons on mobile, or use mouse or keyboard on a computer.  There's nothing to install;it runs in any modern browser.

M+   Adds displayed number to memory
M−   Subtracts displayed number from memory
MR   Recalls stored memory value to display
MC   Clears memory value

A small M indicator shows whenever memory holds a value.  Note:that MC clears your stored memory, while AC, or the Escape key, clears the current calculation;they're separate  —  How Memory Keys Work

Yes, by default.  The Save Work setting is ON out of the box, so your history, memory, settings, and even a calculation in progress are kept in your browser and restored when you return.  You can close the tab mid-calculation, reopen it, and finish right where you left off.  If you'd rather not have it same your work, you can switch the Save Work setting to OFF in Settings  —  More About Calculation History

Yes.  In Settings you can turn on digit grouping (1,000,000 or 1.000.000 or 1 000 000), choose your decimal symbol, and set how negative numbers display, including accounting-style parentheses, where −50 shows as (50).  You can also switch between floating-point and fixed decimal places  —  Adjust Your Settings

Yes.  When you change settings, a link containing those settings appears below them on the Settings panel.  Share that link and the calculator opens with your settings for whoever clicks it, and bookmarking it carries your setup to any browser  —  More Tips and Tricks

The display shows up to 12 digits, while calculations are carried internally to 16-digit accuracy, so results stay reliable even though the display is kept clean and readable.  You can work in floating-point or switch to fixed decimal places in Settings  —  See All Features
